Lovers of theater and performance can salute the return of the January festivals — Under the Radar, Coil, American Realness, the Exponential Festival, Prototype: Opera/Theater/Now, etc. This year, these celebrations, synchronized with the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, sprawl across New York, from the deck of the U.S.S.
